A festive evening of performances awaits as composer Robat Arwyn joins local choirs and musicians for the Ceredigion Music Service Christmas Showcase on 16 December.

Ceredigion is set for an evening of festive music as the Ceredigion Music Service Christmas Showcase returns on Tuesday, 16 December. The annual celebration will bring together choirs, young performers, and accomplished musicians from across the county for a seasonal concert filled with community spirit.

Presented in partnership with Ardal Aberystwyth Rotary, the showcase has become a key date in the local Christmas calendar. This year’s programme is headlined by Atgof o’r Sêr, a Christmas composition by acclaimed Welsh composer Robat Arwyn, who will take to the stage to conduct the piece himself.

Joining him for the performance are celebrated guest soloists Gwawr Edwards and John Ieuan Jones, both widely recognised for their contributions to Welsh music. They will perform alongside talented choirs and instrumentalists from across Ceredigion, reflecting the strong musical tradition fostered by the music service.

Tickets are already in high demand and can be purchased from Aberystwyth Arts Centre for those eager to experience one of the area’s most anticipated festive events.
